When I think of "Back To School",
I automatically think of how early I had to get up in order to be ready for high school.
Not only am I not a morning person BUT,
us girls have to do our makeup and hair to go along with our outfits.
Is it possible to get this done in time? Absolutely!
How, you ask?
To begin with, for you to be able to do your hair
and make up done quickly it's best to keep it simple and easy - Nothing fancy!
Make sure you start with a clean face. I like to exfoliate my face right before I start doing my make up so it's smooth. Make sure to apply moisturizer and primer before you add your foundation. It's a must! I also conceal any redness or spots before I add my foundation. You can choose to do it before or after.

Face Primer: RIMMEL Fix & Perfect Primer - 001
Concealer: 10 ColorsPalette
When applying my foundation I like to start on one side of the face and work my way to the other side to make sure I apply it evenly. Make sure to set your foundation with a translucent powder.
Foundation: MAC Pro Longwear Foundation NW20
Setting Powder: RIMMEL STAY MATTE Pressed Powder
Before you apply any eyeshadow, prime your lid with an eyeshadow primer to prevent creasing and to make your colors last longer. Once you do that start with the lightest color. My lightest color is usually to highlite my brow bone.

After that I apply my lid color and the crease color. For this look I wanted to keep it neutral since you are going to school you don't want to over do it on the first day. So I chose a color close to my skin color and gave the lid more dimension by adding a light brown shadow to the crease.

For the eyeliner you don't want anything TOO drastic. All I did was wing my eyeliner a bit for a cat eye look. Line the top lash line, curl your lashes, and add your favorite mascara. When adding your mascara make sure to start from the base of the lashes to the tip.
Eyeliner: REVLON Colorstay Liquid Liner - Blackest Black
Inner rim of the eye: Tarte Long Lasting Eye PencilLashes: L'Oreal Voluminous - Carbon Black
Eyelash Curler: REVLON Eyelash CurlerNow, for my favorite part .. the brows.
I feel like filling in the brows ties the whole look together. This step is EASY. Apply your choice of matte shadow with an angled brush. Starting with the end of the brow working your way to the front. You want it to go from light to dark.
Brows: Milani Brow Fix Brow Kit - Light Brow Fix 01 For the cheeks I wanted something very natural but still do some contouring. I always start with the countour first. I make my fishy face and lightly add a matte bronzer to the hollows of my cheeks. Make sure you blend, blend, blend! There should be no harsh lines or else you will look dirty. Apply the blush by starting on the apples of the cheeks working your way back.
Blush: Senna Cosmetics Blush - Currant
Contour: Senna Cosmetics Bronze Duo - Sun Sand

To finish the whole look add your favorite lipstick. Since the rest of the face is neutral you can use any lipcolor. I chose to keep it simple and used a lipstick close to my natural lip color.
REVLON Super Lustrous Lipstick - Matte - Mauve it Over - 003
For the hair, all I did was use my CHI to flat iron it and tease the sides and top of my head so it wouldn't be so flat. I added a bump to keep the hair out of my face and TADAH!
Your look is complete!
It took me longer to upload the pictures than it did to do this look.
It's simple but it still looks as if you took your time getting ready.
When you are on a time limit you should:
-Use a palette that contains neutral colors.
You can't ever go wrong with using neutrals for any ocassion.
-Do not try any new tricks. Stick to what you know
so you won't have to struggle trying to erase a mistake.
-Avoid using gel liners since it's a longer process than just using a liquid liner from a tube.
-Start by using the least amount of product/s you possibly can.
Since it's easier to add on rather than having to take off anything.
Hope you guys enjoyed this and learned something new from this.
Within the next few days I will be doing a blog on a simple and chic outfit for the first day of school.
So keep an eye out for that.
Thanks for visiting my blog and stay fabulous ladies!
